Texans Against Crime tradition made its annual appearance in Jacksonville, Texas on Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Texans Against Crime ( Formerly National Night Out) is a grassroots effort to fight crime in each and every neighborhood. It's very rewarding to see  so many people come out on this night and come together as Family, Friends and neighbors in an effort to fight crime and to make Jacksonville, Texas a safe place to raise our families. We thank each and  every person who made it to a block party. A special thanks to all who hosted or helped to host a block party. There was lots of food, fun and entertainment for all ages at each of the block parties. We hope to see everyone out again next year. Let's make plans on having bigger and better block parties for next year. We want Jacksonville to be a safe place to raise families. Another thanks goes out the Jacksonville Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association for their great help in making Texans Against Crime 2011 a success.
